A contemporary equestrian residence structured around the realities of daily horse ownership.
This project brings together a 4-bedroom home, a 4-stall barn, and an open riding arena into a single, coherent system, where movement, access, and usability are resolved from the outset.
Rather than treating the barn and house as separate elements, the design establishes a direct relationship between living spaces and equestrian functions. Circulation is simplified, distances are reduced, and daily routines are supported through clear spatial planning.
The residence adopts a modern rural language, combining timber, steel, and large-format glazing to create a calm, grounded architectural expression. Interior spaces are oriented toward the land, with double-height volumes and covered outdoor areas extending the living experience beyond the building envelope.
The barn is designed for efficiency and clarity, positioned to allow immediate access to paddocks and the arena while maintaining separation from primary living zones.
The open arena is integrated as part of the overall layout, not as an afterthought, ensuring it remains accessible, visible, and functional throughout the day.
This is not a recreational property.
