Clear Creek Equestrian Estate
Project type
Equestrian Estate / Private Compound
Date
2025
Location
Montana, United States
A large-scale equestrian estate designed to operate as both a private residence and a structured equestrian compound.
The project is anchored by a 5-bedroom primary residence, positioned to establish visual and spatial control over the broader site. Surrounding the main house, a collection of secondary dwellings, ranging from 2 to 3 bedrooms, with optional second-storey configurations, create a flexible living environment for extended family, guests, or staff.
At the center of the estate, a large reining arena and equestrian complex form the operational core. The arena is supported by a 20-stall barn, integrated viewing conditions, and a private clubhouse designed as both a social and functional extension of the riding environment.
The site is organized around a clear circulation framework, separating residential movement from equestrian and service flows. An open circular arrival element reinforces the hierarchy of the estate, acting as both a spatial anchor and a transition point between living and equestrian zones.
Each residence is paired with its own outdoor living area and private pool, maintaining independence while still contributing to a cohesive architectural language across the development.
Materially, the architecture balances timber, stone, and glass to create a unified identity that responds to the surrounding landscape while reinforcing durability and long-term performance.
The result is a property that operates at multiple scales, from private living to shared equestrian experience, structured to support both lifestyle and performance without compromise.
